As-is Motor purchases used motor vehicles from private sellers. When you sell your vehicle to As-is Motor, the vehicle is acquired in its current condition. The following disclosures apply to vehicles sold by As-is Motor to subsequent buyers:

AS IS — No Dealer Warranty

THE VEHICLE IS BEING SOLD AS IS. THE DEALER DOES NOT PROVIDE A WARRANTY FOR ANY REPAIRS AFTER SALE. Ask the dealer a copy of this vehicle's inspection report, if available.

Service Contracts

A service contract is available on some vehicles at an additional cost. Ask the dealer for details.

Pre-Purchase Inspection

We encourage all buyers to obtain an independent pre-purchase inspection by a licensed mechanic before completing any vehicle transaction.

State Lemon Laws

State lemon laws do not generally apply to used vehicles. Contact your state Attorney General's office or the Federal Trade Commission for information on used car protections in your state.

Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act

If any written warranty is provided with a vehicle, it will comply with the requirements of the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act (15 U.S.C. § 2301 et seq.).

5. Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) Notice

As-is Motor may use consumer report information as permitted under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (15 U.S.C. § 1681 et seq.) when necessary for legitimate business purposes such as verifying identity or processing financial transactions.

If we take any adverse action based in whole or in part on information in a consumer report, we will provide you with the required adverse action notice, including the name and contact information of the consumer reporting agency that provided the report.
